Direct Broadcasting Satellite (DBS) and Direct to Home (DTH) are the most popular way to enjoy satellite TV worldwide. To do it, a satellite dish with LNB, coaxial cable, splitter or multi-switcher and satellite receiver are necessary. However, satellite dish installation might be difficult to the subscribers living in the apartments of buildings. Fiber cable has more bandwidth and much less loss than coaxial cable. With fiber cable, one satellite dish RF signal can be delivered to 30Km far away or distributed to 32 apartments directly, to 320 or 3200 or 32000 apartments via GWA3530 fiber optic amplifier.
GLB3300M is a modular satellite RF fiber link, transmitting L-Band single RF from LNB over single mode fiber while powering LNB at either 13V or 18V DC from the RF port. GLB3300M includes GLB3300MT transmitter and GLB3300MR receiver. With built-in 1310nm uncooled DFB laser high linearity photodiode and low noise RF gain control circuit, GLB3300MT can deliver high quality satellite RF to a few GLB3300MR receivers.
